Happy Monday!
Well, it’s officially March and it’s officially 90 degrees–hot and humid–in St Pete Beach! I set out on a 7 mile run, but I only made it 5 miles. I was totally dehydrated and “sunned out!” My body told me to stop so I did. Daniel came to the rescue and brought me a iced cold water. We walked the beach and people watched for about 3 miles. After I got out of the shower, I realized I got too much sun for sure. Totally sunburned even though I put on sunscreen spray. Whomp Whomp.
It’s Sunday night, therefore, it is time to plan for the upcoming week. It is a pretty busy restaurant week for me(4 nights out–ouch!) so I won’t be cooking much at home. Dining out is a challenge when you are staying healthy and being aware of what you are eating for the day. I’ll have to be careful–but no fear–it can be done!
Weekly Workout Plan:
Monday: Light Cardio, Upper Body, Abs/Core
Tuesday: Run 8 miles, Abs/Core
Wednesday: Light Cardio, Lower Body, Abs/Core
Thursday: Run 6 miles, Abs/Core
Friday: OFF
Saturday: Hotel Workout TBD
Sunday: Hotel Workout TBD
After doing some work on upcoming travel, we walked out to the beach again to see the sunset. As usual, it did not disappoint. There were a lot of folks out on the beach watching the beautiful sunset and enjoying the warm beach air. So relaxing!
For dinner, I made another super easy salmon dish. Balsamic Glazed Salmon, recipe to follow!
