Born and raised in the area, I considered the Concord-Lexington region to be small, quiet, and historical farming towns. In recent years, the area has tremendously grown with the grand openings of new restaurants, new shopping plazas, and new hotels. During a recent visit, Stewart and I stayed at the brand new stylish Residence Inn Boston Concord conveniently located off of Route 2 in Concord, Massachusetts. The Residence Inn Boston Concord strikes a perfect balance between modern and all the comforts of home. The property is fully equipped with all the amenities for a short weekend visit or an extended stay.
Upon (an early) check-in, our room was not ready so Trish suggested I dropped off my luggage and snack-filled Trader Joe’s bags at the front desk. Trish is the best–so sweet, friendly, and accommodating! While waiting, I camped out with my laptop and work materials near the pretty fireplace in the modern and spacious lobby.
Around 2PM, the front desk manager called my cell phone to notify us that our room was ready for check-in. When I opened the door to our room, the staff already put away the bags of groceries and neatly arranged the luggage in the corner. Natural light flooded the spacious guestroom from the windows and Stewart delighted in the gigantic snowflakes falling outside. Really pretty!
The Residence Inn brand provides complimentary breakfast buffet every day as well as afternoon refreshments Monday through Wednesday. I love that the lobby bar is open nightly for drinks and food, but I also recommend dining across the street at Papa Razzi for some amazing Italian food! It’s a local favorite.
Some of the other amenities include: Pool, Fitness, Outdoor Patio, On-Site Laundry, Free Wi-Fi, Free Parking, and Shuttle Van Service.
All in all the property exceeded expectations. The impressive level of customer service and the new modern stylish inviting ambiance make guests feel like they are at a five-star hotel! Without hesitation, I recommend this fantastic Marriott property!
