Happy Birthday to my adorable, loving, and beautiful friend Jenny! I LOVE celebrating special occasions and Jenny’s birthday is a super special one for sure! Jenny lives in Tampa so we decided to make a reservation at Eddie V’s.
4400 W Boy Scout Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
PPP TIP: Skip the valet parking. Park in the garage adjacent to the restaurant. It is free and only a 2 minute walk.
The atmosphere was very classy and trendy. It was a mature crowd–mix of couples and singles. It is definitely a place I could see myself going for cocktails with the girls or on a date night . As you know, “Happy Hour” menus are one of my favorite things–especially at pricey restaurants. It’s nice to be able to enjoy menu items and the atmosphere at a discounted price! Here is Eddie V’s Happy Hour Menu. It is available nightly from 4-7PM in the “V” Lounge.
Another lovely touch in the “V” Lounge is the entertainment–Live Jazz Band and Singer. The band plays a mix of songs–today’s hits as well as some classic tunes.
I absolutely love these tall glass wine room designs in restaurants. They look so modern and elegant.
After a short wait, we sat at the best table in the restaurant–a large corner circular booth. Our waitress was very animated and fun. She gave great recommendations and made us feel most welcome in the restaurant. Jenny and the waitress had a mutual love/hate relationship with the television show “The Following.”
Opening some fun birthday presents!
The entire meal was very delicious and met my high expectations–even the bread service was memorable. Everyone loved the calamari appetizer the best!
One of the largest pieces of Chilean Sea Bass ever to be seen!
For side dishes, we couldn’t resist the Brussel Sprouts and Truffled Macaroni and Cheese (not pictured). As for taste, the main dishes were much better than the disappointing sides. Next time, I’ll skip the sides.
Dessert Time! Bananas Foster Cake is the real deal at Eddie V’s. As their signature dessert, we could not pass on it. The presentation and table side fire action was spectacular. Also, the serving size was plenty enough for 3 people. If you save room for dessert, you must order Bananas Foster Cake–you will not be disappointed!
I highly recommend Eddie V’s in Tampa. Even though prices are on the expensive side, you will not leave disappointed or hungry. All in all, it is a good value!
