Here is quickie post!
Newport, Rhode Island
After last year’s record breaking snowy winter, we needed to take advantage of most agreeable New England 2016 winter weather. On a beautiful early March morning, we decided to hop in the car escape the city for a quick day trip to the beautiful coastal city of Newport, Rhode Island. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with Newport, Rhode Island anytime of year, but it was nice to go during the off-season to avoid lines and crowds. Newport is less than a ninety minute drive from our place in the South End. Although the downtown area was a little sleepy during the winter months, it was still a fun day with many activities and things to do! Next year, I would love to see the mansions decorated for Christmas season. The pictures online look magical!
