170 Beach Drive, N.E.
St. Petersburg, FL 33701
I live on the beach, so when I’m in the mood to switch up the atmosphere and have a more cosmopolitan city experience, I drive fifteen minutes down the road to popular Downtown St Petersburg. The downtown area is rapidly growing with many new restaurants and stores. Centrally located on Beach Drive, Cassis has quickly become one of my favorite places to dine. The menu has a wide range of selections and prices so it is a great place to invite friends and family, or to go on a date night. (Sandwiches are available for dinner starting at $13 including fries…While the NY Strip will run you $34…and everything in between!)
Executive Chef, Jeremy Duclut, creates spectacular dishes reminding me of an American eatery with a French flair. Cassis is open for lunch, dinner, and brunch on the weekends.
The menu showcases share-able appetizers and flat-breads, inviting entrées, delicious sandwiches with even better french fries!
PPP TIP: Ask your server for some bread. It is made fresh from their amazing bakery. I believe this bread is the most delicious pre-meal bread ever.

One of the reasons Cassis is unique and, in my book, what sets it apart from the many restaurants in St Pete is the BAKERY! The Bakery is a separate shop adjacent to the main restaurant. It is a popular spot for locals to grab coffee and a pastry to start the day–very Parisian style! The Bakery’s menu includes both savory and sweet selections–something for everyone! Walking down Beach Drive, the aroma from the bakery will lure you in for a peek at their delicious creations.
On a Saturday afternoon, you may spot me enjoying macarons and sipping fresh French coffee. Outside dining on the sidewalk is an ideal spot for people watching.
Cassis has a hip, lively, and sophisticated vibe. Guests may dine inside or outside “al-fresco” on the patio. Cassis even has a “Dog Menu” for furry friends.
