After a full day of overseas flying, we finally landed in Jakarta at 4am (after being held on the runway in Tokyo for more than 4 hours). It took a lot out of us, so we canceled our Jakarta tour scheduled for that morning, got a little sleep, and headed back to the airport for our flight to Bali. The domestic flight on Citilink, Indonesia’s government sponsored airline, was surprisingly well organized and comfortable, considering the very low price of $40 per person. Two hours later, we landed in paradise…the island of Bali. After an easy 30 minute, $6 taxi ride from the airport, we found ourselves at The Stones, a brand new Marriott Autograph Collection resort. This place is truly unbelievable! Modern, clean, beautifully decorated, with top notch service. It didn’t take long before we were relaxing in vacation mode.
